We are supposedly having ONE day of unwanted winter weather this week; we woke up to this cold and unwanted SNOW! Last week it was nice enough to have a couple of windows and our dining room door open, but today it is only supposed to to get up to 37 degrees. The weather in the Midwest sure can be silly, but we have always known that! We can't wait for Thursday when it is supposed to get up to 76 degrees, so we can sit at the dining room screen door and enjoy the fresh air again ... hee hee!

We hope that's winter's last gasp. Here we're happy just to have 36F, never mind into the 70s, though. 70+ temps will have to wait till June!

MEOWZA.....SNOW!!!!!!!! Last month the three of us saw snow for the first times in our lives.....us boys are 13 and 10...and Shelly is about 2.......so you can see how rare snow is in our part of the world. It was the first snow we had had here since 1985, which was long before any of us!!!!!!!!

Oh no, not more snow! We are getting sunny days here, but they are still very cold with the wind keeping temperatures barely above freezing.
