Mom knows about the lowering of a lake intentionally too. They do it with Shasta lake about 75 miles up river from us when it gets to full. But..........it does not have enough water in it now. It has to get a lot fuller to ward off the drought which we are hoping for this year. They also have to take in consideration of the snow pack in the mountains too, whether they lower that lake.
