Our First Fire

We had our first fire last week, and I was the only kitty brave enough to go up to the fireplace and actually get on the hearth and check it out, and I wish Momma would have taken a picture of me doing it! Daddy chopped a whole bunch of wood at the country estate, so we will be set with nice, warm, pretty fires for a while. Now only if Sabrina and Simon would be as brave as I was and go check the fire out, I suppose I will need to have a talk with both of them to tell them now nice and warm a fire can be ... hee hee!

Have a wonderful Sunday, furriends!
Sam

Once you all realize how wonderful and warm your furs will get, I'm sure a fireplace Meezer pile will happen soon!

Wow! What a great fire! We got a fireplace too...but our fire is made by gas...it gets us warm, but we usually don't go too close to it.

We're sure all of you are gonna enjoy that fireplace this winter!

It is a lovely fire. There is nothing quite like snoozing in front of a warm fire on a cold winter night.

The first fire is always a thrill. Given it's a planned event of course. Enjoy!!

That fire looks purrfectly cozy! We kinda miss our fireplace, but since it's nice and warm here we'll make the sacrifice.

Sam, if Sabrina and Simon don't like the fire, then you won't have to share the warmth.

Boy, I bet it was really nice moving to the country after living in a city like St. Louis. By the looks of that fireplace it looks like the rest of your house is really nice. Funny, you moved out of the city to the country and we moved out of the country to the city. That is if you want to call Red Bluff a city. It's more like a town. Is the backgound picture a picture of the lake that is near you?? We will pray for your Aunt bean. Thank you for your prayers for our daughter bean, she is doing well. So glad you are back blogging.

Your Mom should post more pictures of your place. The lake looks like a really nice place to kick back and relax. Course I know it's nicer in the summer when it's warmer but it is still a beautiful place.

Oh that is great! We have a little fireplace but the beans don't light a fire too often.

Maybe we can have a date by firelight some time, Sabrina? *kissies all over your face* your boyfriendcat Pepi
