It is with heavy hearts that we share with you that our beloved Sam left for the Rainbow Bridge this morning. Sam became ill over the weekend and was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Failure. Sam was a 14 1/2 year old bundle of love. We know that Jan was there to welcome him, and we're comforted in knowing that they're together again.

Thank you so much for the tremendous outpouring of love and kindness that you are showing to our family, dear furriends and friends. Your words and prayers are helping to sustain us during this difficult time. Please know that we are reading your posts and that they are very comforting to us. Our Mom loved the Cat Blogosphere so very much. She laughed with her fellow CCL's and she cried with them, too.

Our Dad has created a beautiful memorial for our Mom, for she will rest at home with us. She is surrounded by photographs of our adoring family. When you think of her, please remember her for her kind and gentle heart, for she truly loved each and every cat and blogger friend.

Don't forget about us, as we will always love you and will post from time to time to let you know how we're doing.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

I'm taking it easy this morning, watching "Too Cute" on The Animal Planet, which Momma recorded last night. The face of this little guy on the TV reminds me of my furriend Milo!

Sorry we haven't been around much, Momma is still more interested in Facebook, and she recently got a Kindle, so she is spending a lot of time downloading and reading books ... silly woman!

Our 4th Blogoversary

Thank you to the CB for reminding us about our fourth Blogoversary, our scatterbrained Momma totally forgot about it ... shame on her!

Thank You Furriends

We want to thank you all so much for all of your heartfelt comments about the passing of our Daddy's Mom Louise, they mean so much to Daddy, Momma and us.

We left Thursday morning for St. Louis for the wake and funeral and came home yesterday, and although it was a sad reason that we had to go there we do have to tell you there was some good news, at least for us Meezers. We have a new bedroom to stay in at our bean brother Greg's home and we love it so much better than the other bedroom we had to stay in. He finished his basement and this bedroom is down there, so there aren't any woofie smells in it and we get to come out and roam around, because they keep the door from the upstairs closed and the woofie Samson doesn't come down there unless the beans let him ... hee hee!
